Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Based Guidance for Student Academic Hardiness

The background of the research is importance increasing competence for younger generation as nation's successor. This related to ability face challenges, carry out commitments, and proper control in midst globalization which has positive negative impacts. capacity development can be developed through guidance interventions based on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). purpose this study was analyzed description academic hardiness possessed by high school students Aceh, measured effectiveness (SFBT) developing Aceh. used a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental method (non-equivalent group design). Data were collected using modified Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS) from Benishek & Lopez three aspects hardiness, specifically commitment, challenge, control. population 154 MAS Imam Syafii students. sample consisted 60 who divided into experimental groups. Based results paired samplet-test, there significant difference between pre post test after being given SFBT-based guidance, but N-Gain analysis show that SFBT low effect To get increase also individually/group.
